The title of this solo exhibition is "Further" at Artspace Durban. 29th August 2011, opened by artist Grace Kotze.

The human form has interested me for as long as I can remember. Paging through art books, visiting different art museums around the world,  human figure sculpture have always stood out for me. During my studies I endlessly sketched  models and also attempted many figures in sculpture, desperate to understand and create my vision of the beautifully powerful human form. I was inspired by and jealous of sculptors such as Bernini, Rodin and Michelangelo, to name a few, who could render figures with accurate passion. Now after many years of honing my skills and learning the subtleties of making sculptures for bronze casting, I have had a chance to combine my skills to further my understanding of what is possible in sculpture, and bronze in particular.
